First of all I need to see a selection of images from the wedding you are submitting. The easiest thing to do is send me a link to the wedding if you have blogged it on your own site. If not then I will need 50ish images in jpeg format, sent to me via drop box or in a small zip file.
I will always get back to you whether it is a yes or a no, so if you haven’t heard back within 4 days do re send the submission. If successful I will then send you further information on how to submit the full wedding to me, as well as a form to send to the bride and groom.
I usually feature about 80 images per wedding so I need around 100 images for me to pick from.
Main things I look out for are photos that tell the story of the wedding day, detail shots are good as my readers love them, but also portrait shots of the couple and an overview of the whole wedding day.
I only post weddings that haven’t been featured on any other UK blogs, so please let me know if you are submitting your wedding to more than one Blog. I also ask for a months window before you submit it anywhere else.
The images should be no smaller than 720px wide, so 720 x 480 for landscape and 720 x 1080 for portrait.
If you are a couple and you would like to submit your own wedding, the same rules apply but please get permission from your photographer before you send anything to me. I will also need an email from the photographer giving me permission to use their images.
