‘Used and Repurposed’ Waste Free Texas Cabin Wedding Inspiration

These days there is no reason for your wedding to harm the environment or leave a massive footprint behind you. Eco weddings, green weddings, sustainable weddings, I feature them all the time here on the blog and today I have another beautiful example for you. Today we are focusing on Waste Free Weddings with this gorgeous styled shoot from Double Knot Photography and Kendra Duke Design. The shoot took place in Texas on 23rd September 2021 and with it brings an eclectic mix of vintage, and upcycled items. From the cake stand to the cocktails, to the stunning tablescape. The whole shoot is a marvellous example of how to keep your wedding eco friendly and on the right side of sustainable.

“used and repurposed”

The Inspiration for this styled shoot is “used and repurposed”. We are attempting a wedding without a ton of waste. So many weddings end up throwing away thousands of dollars in cake, food, flowers, and decor. With this intimate cabin setting in the woods we are incorporating a lot of repurposed elements. We will have a lot of vintage, old English eclectic paintings, and keepsake elements to this wedding with a modern set up. Think dried flowers, punch bowl, old linens, bamboo tays, and an ART GALLERY.
