‘Eco Bohemian’ Flea Market Wedding Inspiration in France

Today I am brining you a huge dose of eco wedding goodness in the form of this super stylish styled shoot, all the way from France. The shoot took place on 20th April 2022 in France and was sent to me by Manon at Cabinet Poétique. The whole shoot is a celebration of all things second hand, of upcycling, re-purposing and living a more simple life without losing any of the style or wedding flare! I just love the muted tones of this shoot, the relaxed vibe and the super cool couple and guests!

The challenge – Stage a sublime and inspiring wedding for the bride and groom, far from the clichés of the eco-bohemian-country wedding.

Manon Bernier from Cabinet Poétique

It all starts at the flea market. The smell of old books and linseed oil reigns. That’s how Manila & Anthony meet. After years of antique shopping together, Manila proposes to Anthony. He says YES. Thus, these two dreaming poets decide to launch a crazy bet: a second-hand & eco-friendly wedding in the heart of Lyon’s phenomenal Puces du Canal. Who will be present to help Manila & Anthony to take up this challenge?

Much more than a trend, eco weddings are the results of a commitment from both providers and future brides and grooms. Manon and Léa wish to show it is possible to combine sustainability and desirability when organizing a wedding. They called exclusively on providers committed to this path and more particularly, specialized in second-hand.

Each of them brought their know-how and brought something to the table, redefining eco-responsibility. Reuse, rental, upcycling and local are the strong values that guided them throughout the organization. Like any real wedding celebration, every detail counts and nothing was left to chance: a meticulous organization for an extra-ordinary result.
