Julia and Craig’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream Themed Wedding By Andy Hudson Photography

Happy Friday everyone and how are you all? I am looking forward to a nice quiet weekend. It’s all been a bit manic over the last few weeks so this weekend Nik, Dexter and I plan to do something just the 3 of us, have Sunday as a family and get a few jobs done. What about you?
I am finishing off the week with this lovely wedding from Andy Hudson Photography. It’s a relaxed, rustic day with a Midsummer Night’s Dream theme, lots of wildflowers, great food and a real family feel.

‘It was a perfect day. We celebrated finding each other with all our family and friends’

Julia and Craig were married on 30th May 2015 at Cuddystone Hall, College Valley, near Wooler, Northumberland. The reception was held in a marquee next door. ‘Our third son Alex, twelve at the time, found it while browsing online. The online pictures were great, and when we went out to have a look around the scenery was stunning, and we could easily picture ourselves getting married there. We invited approximately 110 guests in total. It took about 6 months to plan the wedding.’

I’m based in Newcastle upon Tyne and shoot all over the North East, my style is extremely relaxed, romantic and absolutely no cheese at all. I believe weddings are one of the most romantic occasions in life and as such I want to capture the closeness and emotion in all its natural glory, I don’t set up shots and almost everything is shot candidly and as it really happened. I try and focus on things through the eyes of a guest.
