Film Club: Kylie and Rakesh’s Summer Fun Wedding. By First Sight Wedding Films

film club

It’s been a while since I posted a wedding film on the blog, but it is something I intend to do more of, so if you are a wedding filmmaker with a Boho style wedding that you think would fit the blog then please get in contact [email protected]. I will be featuring a wedding film at least once a month in the new ‘Film Club’ feature, so let me know if you are interested.

Todays wedding has been sent int my by Gary and Martin from First Sight Wedding Films, it’s the gorgeous summer wedding of Kylie and Rakesh who were married on 27th June 2014 at Bartholomew Barn in West Sussex. The film takes us from the bridal prep, right through to the first dance and is all linked together beautifuly by the emotional speeches. A wedding full of sunshine, a gorgeous venue, a VW Campervan and of course an amazing couple!

Gary and Martin tell us more about the day……….

‘As soon as we arrived at the venue, we loved it. Bartholomew Barn has a really intimate homely feel, despite the fact that its surrounded by stunning corn fields and open farm land. To the rear of the venue is a private walled garden that has a tropical feel, with an amazing fishpond in the middle. A setting like this is always great, as it keeps guests together throughout the day, and stops people wandering off into their own little groups. The gardens also help to give a real depth to our shots, and the bright colours of all the dresses jump out on camera.
Without a doubt though, the highlight of the day was simply to be there with a couple who we fell in love with immediately. Kylie and Rakesh are great and we were so happy to be there with such happy warm people.’
