Nicole and Adrian’s After Wedding Shoot in the Largest Village in Europe. By Rares Ion

Happy Monday everyone, I do hope you had a good weekend? What did you get up to, anything exciting? Nik, Dexter and I went down to London for the weekend to see Nik’s older sister, we all had a lovely time and it was great for Dexter to spend some time with his cousins.
To start the week off in style I have something a bit different for you, courtesy of Rares Ion; an after wedding shoot, which took place so the couple could spend some quality time on their portrait shots and not rush them during their actual wedding day. This gorgeous shoot takes place in Romania in what is known as the largest spread village in Europe and the scenery is absolutely amazing! Stunning forests, rolling hills, mist, and he occasional horse……..perfect for any shoot!

Nicole and Adrian were married at the beginning of May this year. They chose their hometown of Adrian, Zalau, a city with historical importance for Transylvania. They had two religious ceremonies, Orthodox and Protestant, both very deep and emotional, and the reception took place in one of the most beautiful locations in Zalau: Brilliant Park.

All I can say about them is that they are two young, beautiful and deeply in love, with maturity in thinking and who have chosen to live in UK. I have learned many things from them and I am grateful that we have been together in their beautiful and unique day.

Because the wedding day schedule was pretty tight (in Romania weddings last about 16-18 hours), the after wedding photo session was chosen from the first meeting, and they decided that the photo shoot was to take place on another day, with more time available and with all of us relaxed and focused only on pictures.
Because I knew their aspirations were high regarding family life and lifestyle, I felt that the location of Marisel, a village known as being the largest spread village in Europe (8,594,0000 square meters), known for incredible beauty of places (some say resembles the Scottish Highlands) and the beautiful horses breed by inhabitants.

We had a rainy day, pretty cold and diverse light, but it did not affect the inspiration of the moment.
I am proud to be a part of the result ….
