This afternoon I have a beautiful styled shoot for you, it takes in the stunning Irish countryside of Castletown Geoghegan, Co. Westmeath and the wonderful summer we had last year. The shoot is a huge collaboration of wonderful suppliers whose aim it was to create a relaxed bohemian shoot, while showing off the unique Mount Druid venue. I love the dreamy feeling behind this shoot, the use of props, flowers and of course the odd animal thrown in for good measure! Big thanks to In Love Photography and The Wedding Expert for the lovely submission.
This shoot was a collective creative collaboration, something we simply love to do because it allows us to explore possibilities and ideas with few limitations.
The venue inspired this shoot. Barn Venues are few and far between in Ireland as wedding venues ironically, Mount Druid is truly unique in this respect and the opportunity to work in such an original and varied location was such a pleasure.
We really wanted to used the beauty and atmosphere of the venue and location and inspire couples to create a gorgeous wedding day that is full of personality, ambience, colour and variety. We embraced the rustic, bohemian nature of the venue and used much of the existing buildings, foliage, meadows and even pets which we enhanced through our careful choice of decor, attire and accessories.
This is beautiful and whimsical! I really love the bride’s dress. What a stunning location!
LOVE the pony in this shoot; what a fun idea to incorporate!

Thank you so so much for the lovely feature!
We had soooo much fun on this shot!
The pony was so inquisitive we thought we might loose our bouquets, bridal hat and cushions at several points ;)
Beautiful. My wedding is booked for this venue! Can not wait. :)
