Boho Pins: Lighting

boho pins

Welcome along to another edition of Boho Pins, where I delve into my pinterest board collection and choose one to share with you. If you’re planning a wedding then pinterest is the perfect visual planning tool. Fantastic for putting ideas together and keeping all your ideas organised! You can find me here www.pinterest.com/bohowedandlife and I update my boards on a daily basis!

Today I am looking at Lighting ideas. Lighting can be a really important factor in a wedding, especially if you are having an out-door or marquee wedding, or if you are having a winter wedding. In the height of summer you really need to think about the outdoor space and how this will be lit once the sun goes down. I have been to too many weddings where no thought has been given to this and guests end up falling over guy ropes! Adding lighting to the outside areas of your wedding can really add to the ambiance of the day, it can create warmth and really  add atmosphere to different areas. As for winter weddings you can really go all out on lighting, from small tea lights dotted about your venue to massive candles in abundance. Go to town with your lighting and create mood and an intimate feeling to your day, there really are so many options. You can see my full Lighting pinterest board HERE.
