The Proposers - Now on TV!

You may be aware of the work of The Proposers by now? I wrote about them a couple of years ago when they first set up their business. Since then Tiffany and Daisy have been very busy ladies, jetting off around the UK and the world making people’s proposal dreams come true. They have planned and arranged a whole host of fabulous proposals and have some great stories to tell, all of which can be seen in their new TV program! Yes The Propsers have gone global! It’s great to see two hard working women do so well and it shows that true graft and determination goes a long way!
I’ll let Daisy tell you a bit more about their journey so far!

Who are The Proposers
We are the world’s leading proposal planners. We arrange unique and very creative proposals all around the world, from Iceland to Zanzibar, Australia to the states – nowhere is too far and no proposal idea is out of bounds. We’ve had to overcome lots of fears to make couples dreams come true, including learning to kayak, abseil, ski and dive!! Every day is a challenge but we wouldn’t change it for the world.

Tell us about the TV show
Yes, it’s very funny and a real tear-jerker (happy tears of course). It shows how we create a proposal and all the things that could go wrong on the lead up to it. But then when those four famous words are said, everything changes.

How can we see it?
It’s currently on Sky Lifetime 156 or Virgin 242 every Wednesday night and it will be repeated over March and April.

What’s your favourite proposal on the show?
I really couldn’t say as I LOVE them all, but one that always sticks in my mind is the Disney Dog proposal. Yep, if you love Disney and you love dogs then there’s only one way to propose. This is a super cute proposal.

What’s your favourite proposal?
Gosh there are so many. I prefer the intimate proposals where its just the couple but when someone really goes out of their comfort zone I feel it deserves a mention.
An extremely shy, straight-laced banker approached us saying he wanted to propose to his girlfriend with a Bollywood flash mob. Not only that, he wanted to be in the flash mob even though admitting to being a terrible dancer! He was, I have to say, not a great dancer – but the fact he was willing to put himself out there for his dancing loving girlfriend was really touching.

What’s next for The Proposers
Apart from getting married myself this year, we’re hoping our show will be re-commissioned and shown around the world. The sky is the limit for us at moment and we’re very excited.
