Entry 14 of my photography diary and today I am taking you for a country walk in Sheffield with my good friends Karl and Linda and baby Scarlet. Karl and Linda live about 10 minutes from us, so we are lucky enough to see them pretty regularly. W often meet up on a Sunday for a pub dinner and a good catch up. This Sunday they were kind enough to incorporate a bit of a walk into our Sunday afternoon meet up, so I could take some photos. I am so lucky to live in such a gorgeous area, 10 minuets and I am in the city centre and literally straight out of my door and I am in the countryside. I love it! However I know I don’t make use of this amazing countryside enough, so instead of the 5/10 minute drive to the pub we took a bit of a detour and walked it. We saw some lovely scenery, as well as quite few animals, which always makes me happy!
Here I used both my 50mm and 28mm lens (Thanks to Nik for being my able assistant for the afternoon) I have also done a bit of post processing in Lightroom, but only a minimal amount. I think I am at last getting used to the settings on my camera, as I didn’t feel the need to correct too much. I do need to work on shadows though!
Shetland pony!!!
Lovely work. You are getting so much better all the time – love the dogs peeking over the fence – really nicely composed! :)
