This afternoon we are back with our regular feature ‘Advice from the Married Side,‘ real life wedding planning...
I have a fabulous wedding for you today, courtesy of my good friends Jaye and Matt and Tux and Tales photography. the lovely couple are Nicky and Dave were married on 3rd August at Newton Hall in Northumberland. I have never been to this venue but this wedding really makes me want to pack my bags and head off for a few days, it’s full of quirky details and lots of fun elements as is this wedding. I am loving the outdoor ceremony and beach portrait shots, and the couple really know how to party, check out the dancing shots at the end!
We loved shooting this wedding, Nicky and Dave are a super fun and relaxed couple, which made the day so much easier for us! They got married in the amazing Newton Hall, which is a relatively new venue which opened up a year ago and is super quirky and fun with loads of ‘surprise’ details around the venue (like a tree covered in birdhouses). Dave restores Vintage VW’s which was the basis of their engagement shoot and Nicky works with Special Needs Children. Everything about the wedding was amazing, we had such a fun day, but my favorite parts were the outdoor ceremony, as well as the bridal portraits which we did out at the beach near Newton Hall, a beautiful spot and we got some great shots of Nicky and Dave. Their band was fabulous, like going to a gig. They partied super hard and Nicky even got down on the dance floor in her Ian Stuart dress! A great wedding that we will remember for a long time.
