Top Tips – Place Names

top tips

This afternoon I’m pleased to bring you the second instalment of my new feature ‘Top Tips’. Top Tips is a way for suppliers to get involved with the Blog. If a supplier sees something new or exciting at a wedding they are working at I am asking them to send me in a photo of their findings so I can post it on the Blog.

I will only feature photos from actual weddings, or from real wedding suppliers, no pinterest photos. So you will you be safe in the knowledge that all these ideas are achievable and attainable.

Today I am sharing with you Place names after I was sent in this idea from  MOONSHINE weddings. Place names don’t just have to be a name on a card these days, you can really let your imagination run riot and do something different. Ideas can tie in with your theme, or colour scheme, they can double up as wedding favours. Anything to make your day more you.

We used books as favours, each individually selected for the guest and sourced from charity/ second hand shops so cost effective too! Bookmarks were made and slipped inside as an extra thank-you.  They also doubled up as place name tags, tied on with string.

We’re having cupcakes as place names :-) Each one will have a little flag with the guest’s name in it.

    Some super cute ideas here!

I love the playing cards as name cards! I would love to use the exact same one for my wedding – do you know where I can get those from? Thank you!
