Zoe and Oliver’s 50’s Shabby Chic Wedding, Where the Bride Wore Her Grandmothers Wedding Dress by Rebecca Goddard

Today we head off to Stamford for this 50’s inspired shabby chic wedding which has been sent into me by the very lovely Rebecca Goddard . The wedding is very special as the bride is wearing her grandmothers wedding dress which she had adapted to suit her own style and shape, and I’m sure you will agree she looks amazing! Just goes to show that you shouldn’t throw anything away, who knows what the wedding fashion will be like in another 50-60 years!

It was perfect. 50s shabby chic and lots of fun’

How they met
We met through school friends before going to the same university. We have been together about 9 years.

The proposal
Oli took me for a surprise trip to Bologna in Italy. He meant to take me to a very romantic place to propose but in fact we ended up in a grimy bar and he got down on one knee.

Why did you choose your photographer?
The photographer was recommended to us by a friend. We met Beccy and it was obvious she was the right person for the job.
