Allexa and Vincent’s Vibrant and Eclectic Farmhouse Wedding New York by Stories by Victoria

Yay it’s Friday! That sure did come round quickly! It’s been a hectic week at Boho HQ after the fun filled activates of the last 2 weeks Eater holidays. I am finally caught up now and have a whole host of wonderful weddings and features to share with you next week, so do make sure you pop back to find out what I have in store for you. Today though it’s the turn of Allexa and Vincent who were married on 5th September 2023 at Gilbertsville Farmhouse South New Berlin in New York. They wanted an eclectic day where they mixed in vibrant colures and rustic accents with, disco balls and lots of flowers. The result is this wonderfully bright, fun and detail heavy wedding, all brought to you perfectly by Stories by Victoria.

‘Retro Glam’ Colourful Disco Wedding Inspiration

Today I am delighted to give you a huge burst of colour with a retro chic vibe in the form of this colourful disco styled shoot. The shoot took place on 18th May 2023 at The Rialto in Bozeman, Southern Montana and was put together to show that not all weddings need to be full of pastel tones or nude pallets (not that there is anything wrong with those sorts of weddings,) Weddings can be vibrant, alive and full of the most off beat colour schemes. Here we see a collection of bright orange and pinks, with a scattering of disco balls for good measure. Retro glam, meets modern disco and I am totally here for it!

Esther and Rob’s Relaxed Back Garden Tipi Wedding in Staffordshire by Lucy Alexandra Photography

There are so many sorts of weddings to love in my job, but back yard/back garden weddings are up there as one of my favourites. I just love how chilled back garden weddings can be, how you can really make the wedding your own and how people always seem more relaxed when they are getting married on their own property. Today’s wedding of Esther and Rob is just that, luckily they were blessed with a large amount of land which enabled them to carry out their dream back garden wedding. The day was filled with personal touches and a burnt orange colour scheme. Such a fun, laid back day, full of smiles and so much love. Big thanks to Lucy Alexandra Photography for the lovely photos.

Relaxed colourful day, celebrating our love with our best friends.

Esther and Rob were married on 18th September 2022 in their back garden in Rugeley, Staffordshire. ‘We love nature and we’re lucky to have a lot of land where we live, we wanted to celebrate our own way, no adhering to a venue’s timings, and have a super relaxed fun party. We had 70 guests and it took just under a year to plan.’

Gina and Josh’s Beautiful Tropical Beach Wedding in Costa Rica by Raw Shoots Photography

After a few days away in Cornwall, I am back with a week full of amazing weddings and styled shoots. Gina and Josh were married on 22nd February 2022 at Las Catalinas in Costa Rica. They held a legal ceremony the year before but it was a very small affair, so they wanted a bigger celebration where they could celebrate with friends and family in a gorgeous beach side location. Their day was chilled, laid back and filled with the most stunning decoration. With a mix of natural tones, mixed with earthy terracotta the ceremony area, the flowers and the reception tables looks absolutely stunning. This wedding makes me dream of summer, of sunshine and of holidays. Big thanks to the Event Planner, Mil Besos Costa Rica for the gorgeous submission and to Raw Shoots Photography for capturing it so perfectly.

Boho Pins: The Best of Boho – My Top 10 Terracotta Weddings

Terracotta as a wedding theme is HUGE! With the growth of Boho, terracotta has been pushed out into the wedding world as THE hottest colour way, and I am seeing this colour pallet everywhere, which to be honest is no bad thing! Terracotta is very versatile, it can be used in every aspect of your wedding from the bridesmaids to the cake, the signage, stationery, flowers, just about everywhere! Today I am looking back at some of my favourite weddings on the blog in this weeks Boho Pins feature, all of which have featured terracotta in them. A stunning collection of weddings, all of which will give you a big dose of boho style inspiration.
