My Photography Diary: My Baby Dee – Christmas 2013

Entry 25 of my photography diary and it’s my queen of posing Dee again! Dee loves Christmas, she especially likes the wrapping paper and ribbon. Because of this it has become a tradition in our house to have Christmas morning with Dee opening our presents while she enjoys a play in all the paper, so much so that I now get her extra sheets of tissue paper (her favourite) to add to the collection. This year we got her a cat nip toy from Giddy Kipper which she loved! She went mad for it straight away, even the bubble wrap it was wrapped up in turned into a toy for her.

These pictures were actually taken in two goes, the first set on Christmas day with my canon 500D and the next set on Boxing day with my new 5D markII (a Christmas present) The first set I have edited using VSCO Fuji Superia 100+ while playing around with the white balance, exposure and taking out some of the black. The next set I didn’t use VSCO at all, I just played around with the white balance and exposure. I did it as an experiment to see the difference as I’m still not convinced I like VSCO. I think I prefer the 2nd lot more!
