Saturday Cinema: ‘She’s Certainly Keen’ Becky and Rob’s Outdoor Ceremony Essex Wedding by Courting Whale

Happy weekend to you! and welcome along to another Saturday Cinema. After missing a week last week due to the bank holiday Saturday Cinema is back once again and I have a corker for you today. It has been sent into me by Warren at Courting Whale.

It’s the wedding of Becky & Rob who were married on 24th May 2012 at Braxted Park, Essex on the first day of proper heat we had (it wasn’t that long ago but seems like a distant memory now!) It’s a beautiful outdoor wedding, with vows and speeches that will make you cry, well they made me cry! Becky looks stunning and it is clear that Rob adores her, with the beautiful words from him, ‘Your an amazing mother I’m sure you’re going to be an amazing wife!’ que more tears!!

I asked Warren what his favourite part of the wedding was ‘Everything was brilliantly executed but there were 3 parts of the wedding that I will never forget.  The first was when Becky arrived outside the walled garden before the ceremony took place, their 2-year old was upset due to the heat and wanted his mum… so Becky, without hesitation picked him up and carried him down the isle.  I nearly cried!  The second was the audience reaction to the pre-wedding film we made for them was projected before the groom’s speech – it got a standing ovation!  And the 3rd was seeing Rob’s reaction to a surprise spoof music video that Becky had arranged to be played after the first dance featuring all of his friends and family sing and dancing to “fascination” by Alphabeat.   It was such a fun wedding.’

What do you think makes a good wedding video?  ‘It’s easy to say but harder to do; a good wedding video is good story-telling.’
