I asked Hannah a few questions so you could get to know more about her and her work……..

Background
I started as a portrait photographer photographing model portfolios and fashion shoots, I realised that my favorite moments of these shoots were the moments in-between, where there was real, natural emotion. At the same time I discovered some really gorgeous wedding photographers and knew that was the perfect mix of photography, emotion and stunning imagery. Oh and I love people and romance, so, pretty much perfect!
I’ve been a photographer for years, but, I left my “day job” this year to go full-time with wedding photography which is just perfect and means I have so much more time to dedicate to my couples

Biggest achievement
I think my biggest achievement is being able to go full-time with wedding photography. Every day I wake up and am so excited to be doing what I truly love.
Photographically speaking – I think my background in fashion makes me view things in a way that makes for really special pictures. But, as a person, I just really care about every couple that I photograph – I definitely don’t want to turn their day into a photoshoot, it should be a lovely day that I document as it happens. I also have a tendency to get incredibly emotionally involved and have been known not only to shed a few tears during the day, but also when I’m editing the photos!

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I really do adore my job, it’s so incredibly special to be a part of a couples big day and to know that my photos are going to be their memories of one of the most important days of their lives and that my albums will be heirlooms in their future. Oh and of course, spending my weekends with happy people celebrating love, family and friendship.
