Andreas and Natalia’s Rustic Homemade Food Truck Wedding in Germany from Kopfkinografie by Canan Maass
Today we are taking you to Germany for this rustic feel, detail heavy DIY wedding...
Todays wedding is brought to you by one of my new sponsors Milda Vasile, so it would be great if you could show her some love and welcome her to the Blog. It’s the wedding of Paola Faoro and Remigio Picone who were married on 7th October at Islington Town Hall, London with the reception at Freemasons Arms, Hampstead, London.
The dress was vintage inspired by a dress-maker in Notting Hill and with so much of the wedding being made by the couple , it is a great mixture of vintage and DIY mixed with the modern elements of the venue. Faoro and Picone describe their day as ‘Wonderful and unforgettable!’
How they met
We met during the world cup in 2006, when Brazil lost to France. When Italy won the world cup, a couple of weeks later, we went out for the first time and moved together 2 months later. We’ve been together for 5 years now.
Jane Bourvis, a wonderful artist from Notting Hill who makes the most beautiful dresses in the world.
Massimo Dutti, one of Remi’s favourite brands.
Photography by the talented Milda Vasili and the cake by a delicious Brazilian patisserie in London called Cravo & Canela. We did all the flowers, the stationery, favours and decoration ourselves; it was a lot of work, but completely worth it!
Both the dresses and the stationery had a vintage feel to it. The colour of the balloons matched the flowers.
Enjoy every minute of the preparation as this is such a special time! And if something does not go perfectly as planned on the big day, just let it go and enjoy every minute of the day!
