Happy Saturday everyone it’s the weekend…yay!!! What can I say about todays Saturday Cinema? It had be in tears the first time I watched it, and I was crying again putting this post together. It also made me smile from ear to ear all teh way through, it really is very special! Such a stunning couple and a totally beautiful day and a wonderful example of what a wedding video should be. It is beautifuly shot and really does tell the wedding story perfecttly!
It was sent into me by Denise at Deneemotion and it’s the wedding of Kayan & James who were married on 2nd Jul 2011 in Hvar Island, Croatia.
So many amazing elements to this wedding, the gorgeous couple, this breathtaking setting, the beauytiful vows, the speeches, the friend who conducts the ceremony (so funny) the beautiful decor, and the look on Kayan’s fathers face when he sees her for teh first time in her wedding dress, completley priceless!
I asked Denis what is favourite part of the wedding as ‘This location impressed us so much that we stayed for two extra days and filmed additional footage of Hvar. However, the best part of this wedding was getting to know Kai & James and their friends from Canada, and lovely Anita who organized the event. We had also an opportunity to visit surrounding islands: Palmizana and Stipanska!’
What do you thin makes a good wedding video? ‘We love seeing couples relaxed and all smiles during their big day, it makes us feel very comfortable and we want to film them as much as possible, thus we have lots of footage and can freely choose best bits to include in the video. Also, the location and sunny weather contribute a lot. Oh, and we love DIY details and surprise performances.’

Oh, this had me in tears, too! Such a great-looking couple…and a fabulous wedding venue. Seeing the international mix of family and friends, as they say “love in any language” is one and the same!
Yea, quite emotional. Such a beautiful couple. Seem to really be perfect for each other.
Can you tell us who organised their wedding? We are trying to plan a wedding in Hvar but struggling to find a trusted planner.
