Saturday Cinema: AM Showing – Kiran and Bela’s Hindu wedding by A Beautiful Life

Kicking off todays double bill of Saturday Cinema is this mornings presentation brought to you by Beautiful Life Video and Photography. It’s a gorgeous video from Kiran & Bela’s Hindu Wedding which took place in  May of this year. The Groom’s preparations started in London, The bridal preparations and wedding were at the Reebok Stadium in Lancashire and the reception was back in London. I just love watching Hindu weddings, all the preparations, the colours and the traditions, so interesting to watch!

Shaun says about the day ‘The day started at 5:00am in London with Dan filming Kiran’s wedding day preparations. Meanwhile Joy and I were 213 miles away in Bolton at the De Vere Whites in the Reebok Stadium filming and photographing Bela’s bridal preparations. It was a beautiful morning and the light was just perfect in Bela’s hotel room which helped us capture some stunning footage as she got ready for her Indian wedding day.
As a videographer I have to say that Hindu weddings are probably my favourite events of all. Indian wedding videos are always so full of colour, emotion and detail – which always makes them a pleasure to capture.’

I asked Shaun what his favorite part of the wedding was ‘There are so many amazing parts to choose from at Indian weddings, but for me I love the bit just before the ceremony where the groom and his family slowly make their way to meet the brides family. I love the anticipation and emotion as two families merge together to become one. An incredibly beautiful part of the day to film!!’
What do you think make a good wedding video –‘ I think the best results come when couples are allowed to just get on with things whilst I work discreetly in the background capturing their day as it naturally unfolds. Whether I’m filming an english, asian, greek or jewish wedding I always find this approach is best!!’
