Back in August I introduced you to an amazing new company, well two companies actually under the same umbrella Wedding Yurts and the Raw Chocolate Parlour, both the brain child of Lizzie Jones. At that point I focused on the weding yurts but today I want to tell you all about the Raw Chocolate Parlour.

I just love the whole idea of the raw Chocolate Parlour and even better is that I get to meet them next week as they are exhibiting at the Designer Vinatage Bridal Show in Birmingham! on the 8th and 9th October!

So what is the raw Chocolate Parlour I asked Lizzie ‘The Raw Chocolate Parlour is a beautiful venue. Three hand crafted yurts, covered in fuchsia pink canvas and decorated with sumptuous furnishings to create a sensuous and decadent environment. Here you can enjoy our Raw Chocloate treats and champagne love potion cocktail bar. You can hire the Raw Chocolate Parlour for parties, weddings or corporate events.’

Lizzie tells me more about the ethos of the company and  how the whole idea came to be:

The Raw Chocolate Parlour is a unique venue promoting the sensuous secrets of Raw Chocolate. Raw Chocolate is both delicious and nutritious. It is pure, unadulterated and not heated above 42 degrees c to preserve its three hundred nutritional compounds including many trace minerals and essential amino acids.
We serve our home-made raw chocolates with champagne love potion cocktails inside our pink yurts decorated with sumptuous furnishings and sparkling lights, a decadent space for you to indulge your chocolate fantasies.

It is made from the cacao bean, also known as ‘Theobroma Cacao’,which literally means ‘food of the gods.  Revered by the ancients and used in various mixtures for culinary, ceremonial and medicinal purposes; the 16th century Aztec king Montezuma favoured raw cacao for its aphrodisiac qualities.

Chocolate has a long history associated with feelings of well being. It has been favoured by people ranging from the ancient Aztecs to high society Victorians to Popes, all of whom believed it to be a health elixir which stimulated fertility and longevity.
Our cacao comes from ancient tropical cacao gardens in the heart of the Peruvian jungle and the indigenous tribe, the Ashanika grow this sacred and wondrous bean. The Ashaninka need alternative and sustainable ways of making money and we are dedicated to collaborating with indigenous peoples in a way that provides them with an income from sustainable cacao production.

So that’s the chocolate and where it all comes from, so what are the yurts all about? and what is the chocolate Parlour? Lizzie tells us more and share with us the final part to the collection of images that I shared with you back in April……….this time the ’Pink’ set.

Our beautifully crafted pink yurts have been designed to host special celebrations. The yurts pod together and can be used as one large open plan space or individually depending on the size of your celebration and your  requirements. The stunning pink canvas is very eye catching and a perfect  backdrop for photographs. Just Imagine our unique pink yurts on your lawn or  wedding venue.
