Saturday Cinema: Sharon and Richard

Today’s featured presentation is from Ben Marlow at Kissing Gate Video.I had the pleasure of meeting Ben at the Rock N Roll bride party in April and he is soon to become a Boho Sponsor, so I’m over the moon to be featuring his work today. The wedding is just gorgeous and I have to say the Bride is just stunning…I mean STUNNING!!!

Sharon & Rich’s Wedding from Ben Marlow on Vimeo.

The couple are Sharon and Richard who got married on the 26th April St john the Baptist Church in Windsor with the reception at Sir Christopher wren in Windsor.
Ben says: My favouriote part of the wedding would have to be the shots we got on the long walk in Windsor. We had to get all of our shots in about ten minutes, before the police chased us away. Always good to have a bit of police camera action at a wedding!
A lot of videographers will always say ‘we are a bit different’ or ‘we are a bit quirky’. Of course, I think you need to stand out a little bit but a lot of wedding films can get spoiled by a videographer trying too hard to be ‘modern’. At the end of the day, you are there to document a wedding and we should all concentrate on getting beautiful shots. Once you have beautiful shots it’s down to the edit and how you tell your story. Interesting music is always nice too. It’s refreshing being asked to use songs that you wouldn’t generally associate with conventional weddings.
