Real Weddings: A DIY outdoor wedding with the most amazing details.

Today I have a simply perfect and oh so Boho wedding for you, brought to you by Dorothée and Annabel from Belathee Photography. Belathee are two very talented photographers who are based in New York and Seattle. They set up their photography business in 2003 and have become well known for their mix of fine art, photojournalism and portraiture. They have been featured on many majour weddings blogs and wedding magazines, so I was compleley honoured when they contacted me after finding me on twitter! They travel both nationally and internationally and have shoot weddingas across the UK and Europe as well as the US!

This wedding is of Kali and Adam’s who got married  in Oregon. It’s such an amazing wedding, very natural, simple with a tone of creative and DIY elements, when they sent it over to me was SO excited!! and I just couldn’t wait to share it with you.

Dorothée and Annabel told me a bit about the wedding itself.
The ceremony and reception took place at Bella Madrona Gardens outside of Portland. It’s a private residence that hosts a select amounts of events, It’s like a fairy wonderland, full of sculptures and art.
Kali is a decorator and stylist and artist all in one and her and her bridesmaids were designing and sowing their dresses and headpieces and finishing touches the morning of the wedding.
From what I remember, most of her friends are designers and they all helped her put together the reception etc. Most of the guests wore handmade paper crowns later during the night and the dancing was insane.
Kali changed her outfit 3 times and every time looked sexy and unique. Kali’s Husband ,Adam, runs a well known coffee shop in Portland.
