Fabulous Photos: Source Images

Morning all, how are you all today? I hope you have been enjoying the wonderful weather we’ve been having? I’ve not seen much of it as I’ve been in my office for most of the week, but I’m tacking this afternoon off to spend with Nik so fingers crossed it stays sunny!

Today’s Fabulous Photo is from the very talented Source Images. I met Jordan from Source back in October last year at the NEC wedding show, and was bowled over by his photography. He works with Ines and together they set up Source 5 years ago. Based in Berkshire they have a fabulous reputation for covering both UK and Destination weddings and have worked all across the world. Having come from a photojournalist background working for newspapers and magazines, they bring a different element to their wedding photography.

So today’s Fabulous Photo isn’t a wedding related photo, it was actually taken when Jordan went on Holiday in India a couple of months ago. I’m friends with Jordan on twitter and he posted this picture when he returned…….I loved it straight away and I’m so pleased that he has let me share it with you today.
The photo was taken at the  Holi festival (if you watched an idiot abroad then this will make more sense to you) everyone in the streets are covered in paint, and Jordan completely captured the mood and the essence of the festival in this photo. The colours are amazing, the life and the vibrancy of the city is so stunning. This photo is better viewed in context with the rest of the celebration so pop over to the Source Blog to see the full set of these pictures…believe me you will not be disappointed.
