Boho in the paper

Posted by: boho on: August 22, 2010

I was approached by Jo Davison of the Sheffield Star a few weeks ago about my wedding planning business, as she was writing a piece about alternative weddings. I was more than happy to go and meet with her to discuss the sort of thing I do.
Jo was lovely and we talked about all sorts……she seemed particularly interested in the gay wedding I planed at Sheffield pride back in June, for Bella and Lorna, so after tacking some more details about my background and my business I set up an interview with Jo, Bella and Lorna to get their take on the whole day.

Below is the artical she wrote…………..

(Please note my prices don’t start at £1,000 – £3,000 as stated in the article, they start at £35 and go up to any amount depending on the size and type of wedding)

congrats lady! your prices start at £35?!?!

Cheers Kat…..yes £35 for an hour, which people can use for what ever they want, budgetting, wedding dress shopping, guest lists, brain storming…………… then £95 for a planning workshop…..etc etc

This is great!

I agree, you’re prices are a bargain. Brides need to use you!

Thanks Kat and Sharon, I want people to know you don’t have to be a celeb to use a wedding planner…..so have put together packages to suite everyone. Full Co-ordination is always a bespoke package but varies between £1000 and £3000…..on the day co-odiantion is £350.

Great article! No mention of us though :-(

Ah well! Can you email me the piccy so I can share it on our page too x

will do Laurra…….I did mention you twice in the interview, but I said a lot of other stuff that didn’t get in as well and a few bits that she put down arn’t right either……ar well!!
