Real Wedding: Tied by Love

Thanks to Jill from Jill Thorning-Jenson Photography for sending in this stunning wedding.

I love that this wedding is set outside, it gives a really magical feel to the day.
The ceremony was held in the historic apple orchard at Kellie Castle in Scotland.

The lovely couple are Philippa and Jaco Keiser, Philippa is from Elie, Fife and Jaco is South African. They both live in the US but came back to Scotland for this magical ceremony.

Phlippa’s younger brother gave her away in traditional Scottish dress and there were lots of South African guests who came over to enjoy the celebrations.

The ceremony was held outside in the grounds of the castle in the apple orchard, luckily the weather was kind and they were blessed with glorious sunshine.
Jill tells me Philippa and Jaco exchanged personal vows to each other in a humorous but touching way and their marriage was bound with ribbons presented by important family members which were bound together around their hands and blessed.

I love this part of the wedding as it made the day personal to them and truly memorable.

The guests were then brought inside for the reception with a traditional Scottish bagpipe player

A big Thanks you to Jill for sending in these fantastic photos the day looked amazing! And big Congratulation to Philippa and Jaco, may I wish you both many happy years together.
